IWA do have a long tradition of holding significant global water events about leading-edge research and development in all areas of study and operation of water management systems.  IWA significant events took place in many important cities, but the next significant IWA World Water Congress and Exhibition will take place from 7–12 September 2008 at the Austria Centre, Vienna.

This  IWA World Water Congress and Exhibition will be organized in partnership with IAWD that is crucial partner in the region of Danube countries.

Besides individual exhibitors, the  IWA World Water Congress and Exhibition will also host various country pavilions.  A variety of stakeholders from commercial, government and NGO sector will take part in such an important event.

This very important event will gather more than 3000 professionals worldwide that will discuss sustainable development of water management. Such an important event will be hosted by great municipality of Vienna that is so special and unique in its culture, support and hospitality.

PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT OF WATER RESOURCE SYSTEMS

to be held in Novi Sad, September 25-27, 2008

The participants from Serbia, USA, Canada, Germany, Hungary, Austria, Slovakia, Croatia, Slovenia, England and UNESCO - France will discuss various topics significant for the development of planning and management of water resource systems.

The Scientific and Organizing Committees are calling scientists to submit their papers on the following topics to be discussed at the conference:

• Planning and Management Aspects
• Water Resources Systems Modelling
• Natural System Processes and Interaction
• Drought and Flood Management
• Urban Water System Management
  

Participants intending to attend the conference are requested to send the Registration Form so that it reach the conference organizers by April 30, 2008.
