The Jaroslav Černi Institute for the Development of Water Resources (JCI) has a remarkable and ongoing publication history. Our textbooks, periodicals, and other publications have made a strong impact in the scientific and professional communities.

In addition to works by authors who are at the forefront of today’s discoveries in our field, we publish several specialized editions containing the works of our prominent teams along with selected PhD and Masters’ theses, which source from JCI’s scientific research activities, or from our cooperation with similar domestic and international institutions.

JCI’s publishing activities include long-running periodicals, such as the annual publication Activities and Results, JCI’s annual monograph featuring a collection of major works during the year, as well as a series of specialized books which address particular topics from a multidisciplinary perspective, such as Water Information Systems for Hydropower Resources Management in Serbia.

Since JCI organizes important international and domestic conferences and conventions, we also publish proceedings, which are a significant contribution to the publishing of important papers on select topics.
In order for these materials to be easily accessible to international scientific and professional communities, we publish materials in several languages:  Serbian, English, and occasionally German, Russian and Arabic.
JCI works with a number of well-known international and domestic publishers in this area:  IWA Publishing, Građevinska Knjiga, and the Andrejević Publishing House.

In addition to issuing scientific, professional, and educational publications, JCI offers technical and logistical support in the layout and presentation of project documents and expert reports produced within the scope of JCI’s day-to-day activities, as well as water management master plans and similar documents.

Our publishing team also releases audio, video and interactive publications, such as educational and training films and videos, and flash and internet presentations.
